You are more likely to be killed by a bullet shot in jubilation, than a bullet shot in hatred

If you are hit by a bullet from celebratory gunfire there is about a 32% chance that you will be killed. There is about a 2% to 6% mortality rate associated with normal gunshot wounds. Therefore you are at least five times more likely to die from being hit by celebratory gunfire if it hits you.

The higher mortality rate is due to the increase in likelihood of head injuries from falling bullets.
